Phil sings praises for Derry’s most luxurious development ever

ONE of Derry’s most famous sons says a new luxury housing development in his native city represents the final lines of his most famous song.

Phil Coulter was in the city this week for a number of engagements and took time out to visit Coralmount, a development of six new luxury homes on the Limavady Road, by Designer Builder Taggart Homes.

And the man who wrote ‘The Town I Loved So Well’ says the houses reflect the ‘Bright, Brand New Day’ in the uplighting final lines of that song.

Said Phil: “I’d heard so much about Coralmount and I wanted to go along and see what all the fuss was about. When got there I understood!

“These are very special homes indeed.

“The living spaces, inside and out, are spectacular, as good as anything I’ve seen in all my travels around the world and I was delighted to discover that one of them even has a music room!

“Our city has come a long way in recent years and I think Coralmount says a lot about where we are going. Building high-end, luxury homes like these is a great vote of confidence in the future and in that ‘bright, brand new day’!”

Coralmount is attracting interest from house-hunters from home and abroad.

Special ‘invitation only’ viewings begin on Monday afternoon with further exclusive viewings on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Taggart Homes Director Nicolas Taggart said: “We were delighted to have the great Phil Coulter coming along to visit Coralmount.

“This luxury development is very special and our greatest work yet. And it’s very satisfying to have the endorsement of one of this city’s greatest.”

It’s understood the homes have a guide price of £650,000 and include orangeries, pergola entertainment areas and high-end fixtures and fittings.
