A LOCAL designer building company has announced the creation of 20 new jobs.

The Designer Builder Taggart Homes says the expansion is due to increased demand for its new properties at Barley Fields, Culmore and at its Oak Country development at Crescent Link.

New phases at both sites have been released in recent days whilst an exclusive six-home luxury gated development at Coralmount on the Limavady Road will be completed in the next few days.

Groundworks staff and digger and lorry drivers are among the positions being filled by Taggart Homes.

Company director Nick Taggart said the company is continuing to invest in Derry and its people.

“We take a great deal of pride in what we do,” said Nick.

“Our staff deliver fabulous homes centred on Design, Quality and after sales service.

“All our homes are finished to the highest possible standards so that our home-buyers enjoy their perfect home.

“We are delighted to be adding 20 more staff to our team at this time as we expand operations to meet demand.”

The local company includes an in-house After Care team which uses innovative technology ensuring that all customer needs are efficiently dealt with, a unique innovation here in Ireland.

“Our After Care programme lasts for a full two years after a new owner buys their new property from Taggart Homes which gives peace of mind to both the buyer and to ourselves,” said Nick Taggart.

“All our homes in Culmore and in Crescent Link are concrete block-built with concrete floors in our upstairs with a range of features throughout including designer fitted kitchens and utility rooms, mood lighting as standard, build-in wardrobes in the bedrooms, luxury en suite bathrooms with bluetooth speaker mirrors and finished gardens and paving outside.

“There are a host of other features as standard in our homes making a Taggart Home the very best on the Irish market.

“This is no longer just turn-key – these are complete fit-outs built to last for generations.”
