PET REHOME CENTRE WARNING AFTER TWO DOGS DIE IN DERRY

January 27, 2018

THE Rainbow Rehoming Centre has sounded a warning over the recent death of two dogs.

It is suspected the dogs may have picked up something while out being walked in Derry.

The centre says on its Facebook page: “We have received a phone call from a very experienced dog owner who rang to voice concerns about two dogs having sadly recently passed away, one of which was his beloved pet. RIP 💔🐶⚠️

“Both dogs had been walked regularly in and around the pathway between Mount Pleasant and Gleneagles, Derry.

“This owner believes that there is possibly something in that area that both dogs ate or were in contact with. 💔🐶⚠️
“We ask dog owners walking in that area to show extra caution and if you find anything suspicious please report to PSNI
