BIG-HEARTED KENNY Shiels and some of his players made a trip to Altnagelvin Hospital this week to visit the Children’s Ward and to deliver presents.

The club said in a statement: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Shaun Condren from Tristar FC who kindly organised and collected the toys for the players to take to the hospital – thank you to all who donated.

“We would also like to thank the Nurses and staff at Altnagelvin Hospital who were more than accommodating to us

“Most importantly we would like to thank the families and children themselves for allowing us to spend time with them.

“We had a wonderful day and met so many amazing little characters.

“We wish you all a full recovery and hope that you get home in time for Christmas!”
