THREE MEN TO FACE DERRY COURT OVER £40,000 COCAINE SEIZURE

THREE men, aged 21, 23 and 33 have been charged with Possession of a class A controlled drug and possessing a class A controlled drug with intent to supply.

The 21 year old man has also been charged with Possession of a class B controlled drug.

The 23 year old man has also been charged with possession of a class B controlled drug and possessing medicinal product with intent to supply otherwise than in accordance with a prescription.

All three are expected to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning, Friday, November 17 for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Servic

It is understood the charges are in connection with the arrest of three men following the search of a vehicle in the Clooney Road area of Ballykelly around 7.45pm yesterday, Wednesday,  November 15. #

Suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of between £30 – 40,000 was seized, as well as more than 100 tablets of the prescription drug, Pregabalin.
