POLICE in Derry have arrested a 30 year old male on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving and a number of other motoring offences.

The arrest was made after a delivery van was stolen from Abercorn Road in the City this morning, Wednesday 01 November.

A police spokesperson said: “Shortly after 7am it was reported that a delivery driver was making a delivery to a filling station on Abercorn Road when two unknown males entered the vehicle and drove off in it.
