BROTHERS Paul and Joe O’Connor from Dungiven have generously donated £10,012.50 to our Renal Unit, Altnagelvin Hospital.

It was a big thank youn in appreciation of the care Joe received in the Unit.

The O’Connor family organised a charity tractor/vintage car run and family fun day to raise the funds after Joe underwent a successful kidney transplant when Paul donated his kidney.

The cheque presentation was made by Paul and Joe to Renal Unit staff Caroline McCloskey, Dr Agnes Masengu and Maria Brolly.

The family also donated the same amount to the Kidney Transplant Ward at Belfast City Hospital where the surgery was carried out.
