A 48 year old man has been arrested by detectives investigating a paramilitary style shooting in Derry lasst week.
The 33 year old male victim of the attack sustained four gunshot wounds to his legs and abdomen during the attack in an alleyway in the Lisfannon Park area of the Bogside on Thursday, August 8.
The arrested man was detained in Derry earlier today under section 41 of the Terrorism Act/.
He has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
A man was arrested at the weekend over this shooting and a previous one in March.
He was later released unconditionally.
