CASH AND CIGS STOLEN IN DEAD OF NIGHT BREAK IN AT DERRY SHOP

FoyleStreet,_Derry_-_Londonderry_-_geograph.org.uk_-_1187437DETECTIVES in Derry are investigating a burglary at a shop earlier this week.

The break in took place at premises in Foyle Street on July 17.

Detective Inspector Lindsay Fisher said: “It is believed that entry was gained to the premises sometime between 3am and 8am on Monday morning, with a sum of money and quantity of cigarettes stolen.

“I would appeal to anyone with any information which could assist with our enquiries to contact detectives at Strand Road on 101 quoting reference number 226 17/07/17.

“Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
