POLICE are advising the public in Derry to be on their guard over the latest spate in bogus callers.
This time it is someone claiming to be from HM Revenue & Customs.
PSNI Foyle say on its Facebook page: “A kind member of the public contacted police regarding concerns over a voicemail received from a male claiming to work for HMRC.
“The message requested to be called back urgently on a number beginning 01322…..
“This message is not from HMRC.
“It is advised that if you receive this do not call the number.”
