DERRY NEEDS NEW VOICE TO OPPOSE BREXIT – MCCALLION

SINN Féin’s Elisha McCallion has said Derry needs a new voice to send a clear message to the Tories that people don’t want borders or Brexit.

Speaking after handing in her nomination papers this morning for the General Election, Foyle candidate Elisha McCallion said:

“This election provides people with an opportunity to send a clear message to Theresa May and her DUP allies that the majority of people in the north voted against Brexit.

“We don’t want Brexit, we don’t want borders, we don’t want Tory cuts and we want Irish unity.

“Derry needs a new voice to send that message loud and clear to the Tories.

“Momentum has been building behind Sinn Féin in Derry and we want to build on that to ensure Derry’s voice is heard on Brexit and other issues.

“On June 8 you can make you voice heard by voting Sinn Féin.”
