DETECTIVES investigating a second rape at a park in Derry have released on bail pending further inquiries a 20-year-old man arrested yesterday in connection with the assault.
The sexual assault happened in St Columb’s Park in the Waterside area of the city on Sunday night.
It was the second attack in the park in 48 hours.
A 15-year-old boy was yesterday charged at Derry Magistrates’ Court with raping a 17-year-old girl in the park on Friday night.
The boy, who denies he raped the girl, was released on bail by a court despite police objections.
