THE PSNI in Derry are trying to located the owners of a dog who tragically died on Friday.
A spokesperson said: “On Friday, May 5 there was a collision on the Foyle Bridge involving a golden retriever dog.
“Unfortunately the dog died later at a local vets.
“The dog was elderly so it is possible that its owners are elderly also.
“Could you please share this so we can help find the owners?
“If you know any elderly people who have a golden retriever could you check with them as they may not have access to Facebook.
“We have been unable to trace the owners via the dogs microchip.”
