Sinn Fein councillor Patricia Logue

SINN Féin Councillor Patricia Logue has welcomed the proposal for Derry City and Strabane District Council to help provide funding to complete a new play park in the Brandywell and also the Daisyfield project.

Councillor Logue said: “It’s very important that these two projects are completed.

“This is another piece of the overall jigsaw in plans for the area.

“I have campaigned for many years to see the Brandywell, Showgrounds and Daisyfield developed and it is great to see this coming to fruition.

“The need for a play park in the locality has been a key issue for the residents and Sinn Féin for a considerable period of time,” she added.
