Creggan lad Dean Millar who went missing last month

TEENAGER Dean Millar will be laid to rest this week.

Dean’s remains were returned last night, Saturday, April 22 to his family home at Broadway in the Creggan.

The 18-year-old’s funeral will take place on Tuesday, April 25.

Requiem Mass will be held at 10 am in St Mary’s, Creggan.

Dean will be laid to rest following Requiem Mass at the City Cemetery.

In a message on its Facebook Page, Help Get Dean Home said: “Thanks everyone who ‘helped get dean home’.”

Dean was last seen in the Brandywell area six weeks ago.

He had been out with friends and left saying he was going home.

But tragically Dean never made it home.

He is thought to have entered the water close to Craigavon bridge on Sunday, March 12.

RIP Dean.
