DERRY man Eamon Bradley is to have a fresh trial charged with attending a terror training camp in Syria.

The 28-year-old from the Coshquin area of Londonderry is also accused of receiving instruction in the use of firearms, including an AK 47, and a grenade.

The hearing is scheduled to begin on August 29 at Omagh Crown Court as the crown court in Derry was fully booked.

A jury of 12 men and women will then be formally sworn in to hear the case.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between March and September 2014.

Bradley was not in court for Monday’s brief hearing in Belfast.

He remains on continuing bail ahead of his trial in the summer.
