DERRY City FC have announced a new addition that will be coming to the new Mark Farren stand at the Brandywell Stadium for the 2018 Season.

Diehard fans can now get a microchip placed under their skin which can act as an eternal season ticket!

In a statement, the club say: “Together with APF Communications, we can offer fans a relatively pain free procedure which means that you will no longer need a season ticket to gain access to the ground on a match night and guarantees you tickets to all Cup and European games.

“All you have to do is walk on through the turn styles and they’ll open for as long as you’re paid up! Simply touch your hand to the Near Field Communication (NFC) reader at the ground!

“Any fans who would be interested in getting involved with the new scheme can get in touch with the club via a private message to our Facebook page or by emailing the club [email protected]”
