A 39-year-old man has been charged with professing to belong to a proscribed organisation, namely the IRA.
He is also charged with blackmail and common assault by detectives from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch.
A second man, aged 27, has been charged with blackmail and common assault.
They are both due before Strabane Magistrates Court this morning for a first remand hearing.
