A HEALTH and safety investigation is underway following an incident a building site in Derry yesterday.
According to BBC Radio Foyle, a man in his forties at Foyle College where building work is being carried out.
He was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital where his condition is described as stable.
Paramedics tended to him at the scene before transferring him to hospital by ambulance.
The incident took place at the site on the Limavady Road, where the man fell 40 feet onto a first floor flat roof around midday yesterday.
The Health and Safety Executive has launched an investigation into the fall.
