coca-cola-truckTHE Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour is making its return to Ireland.

And it all starts on November 26, when the iconic holiday truck will visit 10 stops across the island.

The truck will be coming to Derry’s Foyleside Shopping Centre on Friday, December 16.

Derry is one of eight of the ten stops have been revealed – with the other two set to be unveiled closer to Christmas.

Radio stations 2FM and Cool FM are urging members of the public to nominate their town.

Listeners can turn in to either station starting November 21 to find out how to apply.

Coca-Cola Ireland’s market manager Aoife Nagle: “The arrival of the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck, made famous by our classic TV advertisement, heralds the start of the festive season.

“We are delighted to be bringing happiness to communities across the nation by giving people the chance to see the truck in person.”

Members of the public will be able to snap a holiday souvenir photo with the truck, take a virtual sleigh right through the forest, play Ice Block Jenga and enjoy some music from the Dublin Gospel Choir on each stop of the tour.

Coca Cola’s “Holidays Are Coming” ad will hit Irish TV screens beginning November 18, and will be seen in the North from November 19.

The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck will stop in the following locations:

  • Drogheda – M1 Retail Park – Saturday, November 26 2016
  • Dublin – Smithfield – Sunday, November 27 2016
  • Kilkenny – The Parade – Saturday, December 3 2016
  • Cork – Mahon Point Shopping Centre – Sunday, December 4 2016
  • Galway – Galway Shopping Centre, Hedford Road – Friday, December 9 2016
