PSNI crestTHE death of a man in Derry this morning is not suspicious, the PSNI say.

The man, believed to have been in his 30s, is said to have died suddenly.

His remains were found among trees between Carnhill housing estate and the Collon Lane, not far from the back of St Columb’s College.

It is understood the grim discovery was made by a man out walking his dog at around 7.30 am on Monday morning.

The PSNI in Foyle are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.

But a spokesperson added: “The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
