WATERSIDE HOME ATTACKED WITH PAINT BOMBS AND LUMP OF MASONRY

Police crime scene picPOLICE in Derry are investigating an incident of criminal damage following a dead of night attack on a house in the Waterside area of the city.

Two paint bombs were thrown at the front door and a lump masonry thrown through the front window of a house in Erne Gardens in the Dungiven Road.

The attack happened around 2.15 am last Thursday, September 29.

Investigating officer Constable Robinson has appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the attack or may have any information about the incident to contact Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 13 on 29/09/2016.

Alternatively information can be passed anonymously through Crimestoppers on freephone 0800 555 111.
