Missing singer and musician Stephen Martin

A TWITTER feed is now running in an effort to help trace missing musician and singer Stephen Martin.

Police in Derry are urging the public to use the #findstevie hashtag if they have any information on his whereabouts.

It is now three weeks since Stevie – who used the stage name of ‘Rainy Boy Sleep’ – was last seen.

His car was found at the pier at Fanad Lighthouse in Donegal.

Air, land and sea searches have been carried out in an effort to find him as police and his family are concerned for his well being.

Garda Supt David Kelly said Stevie’s family were “distraught” at his disappearance.

In a posting on its Facebook page today, the PSNI in Foyle wrote: “Guys, as far as we know, no-one has seen or heard from Stephen ‘Stevie’ Martin since our first appeal and we, along with his family, are really concerned for his ongoing health and well being.

“He was last seen in the Derry area three weeks ago and for those of you who don’t know, he’s 6’ tall, slim build, with brown shaved hair and facial stubble.

“Please LIKE AND SHARE this post using the ‪#‎findstevie‬ hashtag, then be mindful of him when you’re out and about wherever you are!

“If you have any information or you wish to make contact with Police/his family, you can do so by ringing 101 from any phone.”
