lowryslanePOLICE in Derry are hunting a male ‘flasher’ in the city.

It is reported he exposed himself to a woman in Lowry’s Lane (pictured above) near the Springtown Road on Tuesday evening this week.

The woman, who was walking her dog at the time, rang the PSNI immediately about the incident.

A police spokesperson at Strand Road said: “Enquiries are ongoing into the report of a male who exposed himself to a woman walking her dog in the Springtown Road area of Derry at around 9.20pm on the evening of Tuesday April 5.

“The male was described as being aged in his teens, with dark hair and swarthy complexion and was wearing a grey hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms.

“Police would ask anyone with any information to contact officers at Strand Road on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

This is not the first incident of its type at Lowry’s Lane.

It is understood police are investigating similar incident over the past number of weeks.
