SINN Fein councillor Christopher Jackson has appealed for information following an attempted robbery of pizza delivery driver at Virginia Court at the weekend.
The attackers were armed with iron bars and a brick was thrown at the driver’s car.
Cllr Jackson said: “I have spoken to the driver and he has been left badly shaken by this incident.
“It’s a disgrace that people out trying to make a living are coming under attack.
“I would urge anyone with information about this attempted robbery at Virginia Court to bring it forward to the police straight away.”
