A WOMAN was treated in hospital after she was rescued from her crashed car in Co Derry yesterday.
The Fire Service says crew responded to a single car road traffic collision at Ballymacombs Road in Portglenone, Kilrea around 10.22 yesterday morning.
“Firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to release an 18-year-old woman from the vehicle,” said a spokesperson.
“She was taken to hospital by ambulance. Fire crews from Kilrea and Ballymena stations attended the incident.”
