A SINN Fein councillor has called for extra police patrols after a car fire in the Sandale Park area of Derry on Monday night.
Sinn Féin Councillor Tony Hassan said: “Those involved in these actions have only succeeded in terrorising their own communities by inflicting inconveniences upon them.
“The last thing local people want to see is an upsurge of this sort of activity.
“I am calling for an increase of police patrols in the area to combat these types of incidents.
“And i would appeal to anyone with even the slightest piece of information in regards to those behind this to bring it forward straight away.”
