Sinn Fein councillor Mickey Cooper
SINN Féin Councillor Mickey Cooper has condemned those responsible for setting a car on fire in the Ballymagroarty area on Sunday morning.
The attack is the latest in a number of incidents in the area over the past couple of months.
Said Councillor Cooper: “This is very worrying because there have been a number of similar incidents in the area over the last few months.
“I was contacted by a number of residents on Sunday morning with concerns about a burnt out car on the Aileach Road which runs through Ballymagroarty.
“I have now arranged with the council for the car to be removed from the scene.”
