POLICE have charged a 45-year-old man in connection to the discovery of Class B drugs worth £10,000.
The herbal cannabis was found after a car was stopped by police on the Mullenan Road, Derry, just after 8 pm on Thursday night during a drink driving crackdown.
The suspect has now been charged with possession of Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, possession of Class B controlled drug and possession of class C controlled drug.
He is due to appear at Magherafelt Magistrates’ court this morning, Saturday, December 5 for a first remand hearing.
