A PENSIONER was plucked to safety by fire crews today in Co Derry
NIFRS say firefighters used “manual handling techniques and a long board to rescue a 65-year-old man”.
They were called to his aid after the tractor crashed into a field at Ringsend Road in Cam, Limavady.
He was later taken to hospital by ambulance.
Fire crews from Limavady and Coleraine stations attended the incident.
