POLICE in Derry have arrested two males in relation to the theft of a vehicle.
The vehicle has since been recovered and is undergoing a forensic examination at PSNI Maydown station.
The two males were detained for theft, aggravated vehicle taking, taking and driving away the vehicle without the owners permission and no insurance.
They were also arrested for possession of drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Officers made the arrests at Whitehouse Road during a follow up inquiry into the vehicle theft.
