POLICE say the security alert in Co Derry is now over.
The PSNI closed a section of the Shore Road in the centre of Ballyronan last night.
It followed the discovery of a suspicious object in the area.
Army Technical Officers were tasked to the scene of the alert.
However, following an examination, the object was found to be “nothing untoward”, say police.
