DDTV: WATCH DERRY PRIMARY SCHOOL PRODUCE SENSATIONAL LIP-DUB PERFORMANCE

DDTV: It’s definitely silly season at Hollybush Primary School in Culmore, Derry where the school’s first ever “lip dub” has just been uploaded to YouTube.

This short wacky film focuses on the last day of term madness at the school!

While much of the business of a school is serious, this video celebrates the fun that is right at the heart of a school community.

Where else would you see a teacher’s Yaris turning into a limo and a Principal asleep on the job while the deputy principal escapes from marauding pupils in a Morris Minor??

There is also a short clip of Hollybush’s own Ireland, European and World karate champion, Joseph Feeney, trained by Muff native, Sean Barron.

Plans for this video began back in September, but what was finally created was almost spur-of-the-moment stuff brilliantly captured by Buncrana Man Emile Rainey of Rainey Day Productions and Junk Kouture fame.

What the film does show, aside from the excitement of the children and staff at the approaching summer break, is the wealth of musical and sporting talent for which the school is renowned.

Plans are already afoot for a 2016 follow up with a new and exciting theme! Watch this space!!!
