A Co Derry woman was convicted at Antrim Crown Court today for claiming benefits of over £45,000 she was not entitled to.
Dianne Taggart (33), of Killeague Road, claimed Income Support totalling £46,930 while failing to declare she was living with her partner.
She was given 100 hours community service over a 12 month period.
She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
