Foyle MP Mark Durkan welcomes cash injection into domestic abuse centre
SDLP FOYLE MP Mark Durkan says he is “delighted” at the news of Heritage Lottery Fund’s development grant of £73,000 and the earmarking of £1,328,300 for ‘One Safe Place – The Old Convent House Project’ in Pump Street.
“This new centre will be a major asset in the fight against domestic abuse here and serve as a quality environment to help support people who have undergone some terrible experiences,” added the former SDLP leader.
