THERE is sadness this morning following the news that two young men have been killed in a car crash.
The accident happened between Newbuildings outside Derry and Magheramason in Co Tyrone.
The one-vehicle crash happened at about 3.30 am between Duncastle Road and Woodend Road.
The two men were travelling a black Volkswagen Golf car from Strabane in the direction of Derry.
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the smash to contact them on the 101 non emergency number.
