A man was convicted at Coleraine County Court yesterday for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
Adrian Clarke (31) of Hartford Park, Coleraine claimed Jobseekers Allowance totalling £2,529 while failing to declare employment.
During an appeal hearing he was given 100 hours community service and ordered to pay court costs of £28.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
