Police in Derry have arrested four people as part of a targeted operation against burglary gangs – and found a cannabis cultivation plant in the process.
A 36-year-old woman and two men two men aged 30 and 31 were arrested after a burglary at a flat on the Strand Road.
In a follow up search at a property in the Georges Street area, a laptop computer stolen earlier was recovered and a quantity of cannabis plants and cultivating equipment were found, said the PSNI.
A 31 year old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis at the scene.
All currently remain in custody helping police with enquiries.
