CRIME ALERT: THIEVES in a white van are travelling across Derry City to steal ‘all around them’ according to reports to Derry Daily.
They’ve emptied oil tanks and empty garden sheds as part of the crime wave.
Communities in all areas are being urged by readers to be vigilant.
Home owners are once again being urged to secure oil tanks and padlock outbuildings, garages, gates and sheds.
Anyone acting suspiciously should report it immediately to police.

Eye-witnesses say the gang is using a white van.
They may also use diversionary tactics, pretending to ask home owners for directions as they ‘case’ properties to target.
