SDLP Cllr Angela Dobbins as urged residents from Culmore to come and have their say regarding the following community issues.  

Health Impact Assessment & Proposed Parish Centre

Cllr Dobbins stresses that community involvement is vital to the outcome of these consultations.

She said: “Derry City Council have invited residents from Culmore to participate in a Health Impact Assessment of existing and proposed industrial facilities.  Consultants have been asked to assist in assessing this issue and will be asking how residents think individual and community health and wellbeing is affected by surrounding industry.

Discussion events will be held

Saturday 24th January at Hollybush School 2pm-5pm

Monday 26th January at Hollybush School 6pm-9pm

www.derrycity.gov.uk/hia

There is also a meeting regarding the consultation for the proposed Parish Centre on Arden Rd. Consultants will be in attendance to gather your views and suggestions so it is important to attend and participate any decision making.

This meeting will take place Tuesday 27th January at Hollybush School 6.30pm

Your input is important and will inform the final reports on both of these issues.
