YUK! NOW NI WATER TURNS TO THIS!

B71GdjzIEAAAKTvPEOPLE in County Derry who’ve had their water cut off aren’t exactly over the moon with the restored service.

That’s because the water turned back on to Dungiven and other parts affected by industrial action have been getting a load of this…..cloudy chemical-filled water.

And it smells – and doesn’t taste great either.

The dodgy water supply was affecting thousands of homes last night.

However Sinn Fein councillor Cathal O hOisín said people throughout the north west have been complaining.

He vowed to raise it with NI Water today

Talks between Nipsa, Unite and GMB members, who voted for a work-to-rule and withdrawal of on-call services and overtime, and NI Water management continued into the early hours.

Minister Danny Kennedy also attended the talks.

Stormont’s regional development committee has called an emergency meeting this morning.

Yesterday more than 1,000 primary school pupils spent the day at home, as the NI Water industrial action continues to disrupt supplies.

Water supply was also restored to about 4,550 properties in County Tyrone.

However, about 3,200 properties in West Tyrone and Fermanagh remain cut off.
