By Tom McBride @tmcbride486 COUNTY Derry teenager Ruairi McSorley’s UTV Live about the recent snowfall has gone viral – with millions of views on social media.

The 18 year old funny man spoke to Gareth Wilkinson on Tuesday morning while waiting to get a bus to Lumen Christi College.

Airing on Tuesday night, the interview saw McSorley – who has been awarded the nickname ‘frostbit boy’ – speaking about the weather in his distinctive Park Village accent.

Being asked about why he was making the journey to school despite the conditions, McSorley said: “well the mother said we had to go anyway so we didn’t have much of a choice in the matter.”

Before Wilkinson questioned him on whether he felt it was terribly cold outside, to which McSorley responded: “aw God you wouldn’t be long getting frost bit.”

The clip has since gone viral, tallying millions of views across the globe and earning Ruairi a second appearance on UTV which aired tonight as a follow up to his newfound internet stardom.

Ruairi has his own internet youtube channel where he does impressions.

But it appears his own impression has been his biggest hit so far.
