ANGER AS YOUTHS TERRORISE ESTATE AND BLOCK ROAD WITH ‘SNOW WALL’

10920914_10153834331792316_8822980160973409710_nA GANG of youths went on the rampage in Strathfoyle last night, bursting into homes to throw snowballs at residents and blocking a route into the estate with a snow wall.

It’s just the latest example of thuggery in the city related to the weather.

Local community worker Alex Duffy said he received numerous complaints.

“On one occasion they entered the home of a girl and started to throw snlowballs into the house,” he said.

“They also erected a snow barricade on Clonmeen Drive blocking access to traffic then attacking the cars with snowballs.

“Someone is going to get badly hurt with this mindless antisocial behavior and it needs to be address now by the PSNI.

“I have contacted the road service who will hopefully clear the barricade before it freezes making it more of a danger to early morning traffic and buses.”
