Two people have been arrested in connection with two separate robberies.
Inspector Jonny Hunter said a 20-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of robbery, criminal damage and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The offences are alleged to have occurred at a residential property at Dunvale Close in Derry on December 22 last.
She was released on bail pending further enquiries.
Meanwhile, a 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.
The man was detained after police were alerted to a car at a disused factory at Campsie industrial estate shortly before midnight on Wednesday, January 7.
He was released on bail pending further enquiries.
