COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS: PRODUCTION PROBLEMS AT THE NORTH POLE AS SANTA BLASTS ‘LAZY ELVES’

EXCLUSIVE: Santa Claus has exclusively revealed to Derry Daily that he is unhappy at the work ethic of a number of his elves. santaclaus_rovaniemi

In an astonishing revelation Santa blasted his elves for being ‘lazy’ and for not working hard enough to manufacture all the toys and presents.

Santa says he and his elves have a huge amount of work to do in the next few days in order to make sure all the children in the world get all the toys they’ve asked for.

With just three days left until Santa makes his big journey all over the world the pressure is now mounting.

Santa told Derry Daily, “I’m not happy with a number of elves in my production line.

“They’re not manufacturing the toys at the rate they normally have done so over the years and I’m not happy.

“Some of them being are being very lazy this year, and I’ve told them they need to pull up their socks in the next few days.

With the world population rising all the time there has been an added demand and increase for toys to be manufactured and as a result the workload has increased for the elves.

However, according to Santa because of this they need to work even harder and he says the next three days are going to be hectic.

“Obviously this is the busiest time of the year for us, I’d say around 80% of all the toys have been produced but we’ve still got 20% incomplete.

“I’m confident my elves can work that bit harder and make sure all the toys are manufactured in time.

“They’ve never let me down before or the children so I’m confident they’ll get the job done.

“I’m hoping me giving them a bit of a telling off will prompt a positive response from them.

Santa has also exclusively revealed that he hopes the children leave him low-fat milk in his effort to beat the bulge.

“I’m hoping they leave me out some low-fat milk, I don’t want to put on too much weight again this year.

“But I don’t mind too much what I get as I’m always thankful of anything people leave out for me.

“Mrs Claus doesn’t want me getting too fat as we plan on going away on holidays next month.
