PLANNING PERMISSION REFUSED FOR NEW 24-HOUR WATERSIDE FILLING STATION

petrol_2193435bPlanning permission has been refused for the construction of a new filling station in the Waterside area of Derry.

Lissan Coal Company, of Lissan, Cookstown, is looking to build an unattended 24-hour filling station at lands adjacent to to Rossdowney Road and Crescent Link junction.

The proposals also include the provision of a sales building and a drive thru car wash.

The matter is due to come before a meeting of Derry City Council’s planning committee this afternoon.
