Two people were taken to hospital following a two-car crash in Sion Mills last night.
Firefighters used cutting gear to release a heavily trapped man from his car following the collision which occurred on the Melmount Road shortly after 8.00pm.
The man, aged in his 40s, and a 25 year old woman were taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment to injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
The Melmount Road was closed for a period following the collision.
