Over 70 golfers took to the fairways at Ballybofey Golf Club, in North West Golf Club Captain’s Bosco Reid’s “away day.”
The big hitting Eugene O’Connell had a three shot cushion on the rest of the field, to finish first with 39 points, a “no score” at the first hole followed by birdies at the third, fifth, seventh, 11th and 12th.
It took a four way break of tie to separate the other places, all scoring 36 points.
In second place was the much improved Trevor Henderson with a good back nine of 20 points and 36 points in total.
Third place was filled by Kevin Doherty while fourth place went to Cathal Mullan.
The final podium place was filled by Jimmy McGee.
Winner of the front nine with 20 points was Joe McColgan and the back nine was won by Ray Gallagher with 19 points.
