DEPLETED DROGHEDA TO FACE DERRY IN FAI CUP QUARTER-FINAL REPLAY

FAI Ford Senior Cup Showcases New TrophyDerry City will face a depleted Drogheda United in their FAI Cup quarter-final replay at Brandywell tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).

Damien Richardson will be without five first-team members as a result of last Friday’s dramatic 2-2 draw at United Park which saw the Boynesiders finish the game with just eight men.

Peter McGlynn, Shane Grimes and Gavan Holohan were dismissed and as a result sit out tonight’s game along with Mick Daly and Gavin Brennan who have one-match bans to serve because of accumulated yellow cards.

Gary O’Neill is also a slight doubt having sustained a groin injury.

Derry boss Peter Hutton has injury concerns around Rory Patterson and Barry Molloy who struggling with back and groin problems respectively.
