Derry’s Mayor haslaunched the new Visit Derry illustrative Visitor Map for 2014/15.
The map features many of the Visit Derry members and will be used as a key marketing tool to promote the city whenever Visit Derry attends internnational and national promotions.
Speaking at the launch, Cllr Brenda Stevenson the “unique” visitor map would also be used as a “key visitor servicing piece of collateral.”
The new edition of the Visitor Map contains information on member visitor attractions, cultural venues, tours, accommodation, restaurants, pubs, shopping, leisure & travel information.
It will guide visitors around the city and surrounding area and encourage them to create their own unique experiences by uncovering the stories behind this culturally vibrant destination.
Cllr Stevenson said: “The map is an essential city guide not only for all visitors to the city but also the local population.
“It will be distributed to all Visit Derry members, visitor information centres throughout Ireland and Tourism Ireland offices around the globe.
The map is free of charge and copies are available from the Visitor Information Centre, 44 Foyle Street.
